The Fine Print

Privacy Policy

A plain-language look at what johnmoyer.com collects when you request a booking or buy a ticket, and what we do with it.

Last updated: October 8, 2026

  1. 1.Information you give us

The booking form on this site asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, event type, event date, event location, guest count, and a message about your event. Everything in that form is information you choose to send us.

Some forms on this site are hosted by our booking platform rather than by us. When you fill one of those out, the details you type go to that platform on our behalf.

We also receive information when you email or call us, or when you tell us something about your event in a conversation.

  2. 2.How we use it

    We use your information to:

    • Answer your inquiry and send availability, rates, and booking details.
    • Plan, schedule, and confirm your show.
    • Keep a record of inquiries and past bookings.
    • Improve the site, the show, and how we communicate with clients.

We do not sell your personal information.

  3. 3.Who we share it with

Booking inquiries are passed to the booking automation and CRM tools we use so the right person can follow up with you promptly.

Ticket purchases for public shows happen on Wiseguys Comedy / SeatEngine. Their site handles the transaction, and their own privacy policy applies there.

We also rely on website hosting and measurement providers to keep the site running and to understand how it performs.

  4. 4.Cookies and measurement

This site uses the Meta Pixel, a measurement tool that helps us understand how visitors came to the site and how our advertising performs. It can place a cookie in your browser and may send usage information to Meta.

You can control cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage how Meta uses data for advertising in your Meta ad preferences. Turning off measurement will not stop you from using the site or sending a booking inquiry.

  5. 5.Tickets and public shows

John's public shows are sold only through Wiseguys Comedy / SeatEngine. Payment card details are entered on their secure checkout and are never seen by us.

Third-party resale sites are not honored at the door, and valid photo ID matching the name on the ticket is required at the venue.

  6. 6.How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and booking records for as long as needed to follow up with you, honor a booking, and keep an accurate history of past shows. If you ask us to remove your details and we have no booking or legal reason to keep them, we will delete them.

  7. 7.Your choices

You can ask us what we have on file for you, ask us to correct something, or ask us to delete it. Send your request through the booking form and note that it is a privacy request.

If you would rather not hear from us again, tell us in any reply and we will stop contacting you.

  8. 8.Children

This site is intended for the adults who book and attend events. Please do not send us personal information about children.

  9. 9.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site and our tools change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and the updated version applies once it is posted.

  10. 10.Contact

Questions about this policy or about your information? Use the booking form and note that your message is a privacy question, and we will get back to you.
